My name is Angelique Colby and this is my sixth year as an LLD teacher at Blueberry Hill School. I have a graduate degree in special education from Bay Path University and I studied educational technology integration at Johns Hopkins University. Having previously worked in clinical research, meaningful data and current educational research are important to me as an educator. I am particularly interested in digital gaming for cognitive applications, understanding how movement impacts focus and cognitive processing, and using virtual reality simulations to improve expressive/receptive language and the visualization techniques used to build comprehension. I got married this past June, and I have two sons (plus a daughter on the way). When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
